Unless you have the perfect building lot, in the ideal location, and are constructing a house complying to your every specification (with an unlimited budget), then your home buying experience will undoubtedly involve some degree of compromise. It is our goal to help you minimize the extent you will be forced to temper your desires.
There are many comprehensive guides available, adequately describing the “nuts and bolts” of the home buying process. It is not our intention to duplicate those efforts here, however we do encourage every buyer to visit the Long and Foster buyer’s guide and peruse the excellent treatment presented there. This guide is likewise available, in print format, from us or any Long and Foster office.
Unfortunately, any written or verbal description of this process can lead one to believe that seemingly insurmountable obstacles lie in the path between where you are and where you want to be.
